Canned Food Drive

Students participated in a community service project to collect canned goods for a local church food pantry. The canned food drive was a success with over 100 donations. Additionally, the students enjoyed social interaction with cocoa and cookies.

Honor Roll Recognition

MAVL students were recognized for "A" and "A/B" honor roll.

Senior Application Week

MAVL seniors were given the opportunity to apply to 70 colleges and universities for FREE. 100% of seniors applied to college.

Pink Out

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, MAVL hosted a Pink Out. Students wore pink to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness.

ACT Bootcamp

Students were offered a free ACT Bootcamp class where they learned important tips and strategies for how to be successful on the examination. A full-length test was taken, graded, and each student was provided with individual feedback. Additionally, each student received a packet with a multitude of resources to help with preparation.

Signature Academy Showcase

MAVL was represented at the Signature Academy Showcase. Prospective 8th grade students got a chance to learn about EVA and what the program has to offer.

Senior Night

Senior students and parents were invited to Senior Night to discuss important information on requirements for graduation, ACT, college admissions, and financial aid.

Parent Workshop

Parents learned how to be an effective learning coach and facilitate their student's learning. Parents were instructed on how to check grades, monitor progress, and create study schedules.

Student/Parent Orientation

Before students are enrolled in MAVL, they participate in a student orientation with their parents. The purpose of the orientation is to provide students and parents with the tools they need to be successful in online learning.
